About Baptist Banner

Baptist Banner is a website that is devoted to the edification of Christians.  The reason I started Baptist Banner was to get the message of our heritage out to those who don't know about it. I wanted to give Baptists a trustworthy place to go for research and resources. There are a large number of resource sites you can go to for information such as Wikipedia, Encyclopedia Britannica, World Book and others, but when it comes to religious information, especaily Baptist, the information is rarely accurate. Baptist Banner is dedicated to providing only the most accurate information about Baptist history.

We have a large database of Baptist history articles, sermons, and resources. We hope to have a database of churches soon for the purpose of locating, good IFB churches if you are moving, going on vacation, etc. We sincerely hope that you will find Baptist Banner to be a strong, trustworthy resource.
